9 novembre 2004: AgiLight commercialise
les modules de LED les plus fins au monde montés
sur substrats souples
AgiLight Inc. introduces the worlds
thinnest LED SMT micro-package for a range of direct
and backlit electronic and lighting applications such
as LCD, indicator, and keypad backlighting. The micropackages
are mounted on a flex substrate and are available as
discreet modules, as well as in array and linear "wire"
form.
As part of this product line, AgiLight
is developing a series of flexible ultra-thin alphanumeric
displays to be released early next year targeting the
Smart Card and membrane switch industry.
AgiLights NanoFlex series LEDs are
available in a wide variety of colors and footprints
and will allow manufacturers more design freedom in
the development of future electronic products.
AgiLights discreet AGI-NW1030 SMT
series are 1.0mm (L) x 3.0mm (W) x 0.20mm (H), less
than half the thickness of currently available SMT packages.
"AgiLights micro-packaging technology represents
a breakthrough in the way LEDs are manufactured and
enable very unique form factors for next generation
handheld devices," said J. Bryan Vincent, AgiLight
co-founder and CEO. About AgiLight Inc.
